Social Psychology – (BC 502)
Welcome & Introduction
In this course on Social Psychology, has greatly enriched our understanding of human interaction. utilizing research that is well-grounded in the empirical and theoretical literature, how a distinctively Christian approach can offer a fresh perspective on the central questions of social psychology.
What has Christianity to do with social psychology? — The self in a social world — Social perception and social cognition: understanding others and our social world — Social influence: conforming groups and obedient individuals — Attitudes and persuasion: yet more examples of social influence — Aggression — Prejudice, stereotypes and discrimination — Prosocial behavior: helping — Interpersonal attraction and relationships: who likes whom and when and why.
