Intro to Christian Apologetics – (MIN 402)

Welcome & Introduction

In this introductory course on Christian apologetics, we will explore the fundamental principles
and methods of defending and explaining the Christian faith. Our goal is to equip you with the
tools and knowledge necessary to defend your beliefs confidently and intelligently.
Through a combination of lectures, readings, discussions, and practical exercises, you will gain a
deeper understanding of the Christian worldview and how it addresses some of life’s most
challenging questions. We will also examine various apologetic approaches, including historical
evidence, philosophical arguments, and scientific reasoning. By the end of this course, you will
have a solid foundation in Christian apologetics and be better equipped to engage with individuals
from different belief systems.

As Christians, it is crucial for us to be able to give a reason for the hope that we have (1 Peter
3:15). This course will not only strengthen your own faith but also enable you to effectively share
the message of Christianity with others. We believe that apologetics plays a vital role in evangelism
and can help remove intellectual barriers that hinder people from accepting the gospel.
