Conflict Management – (LM 308)
Welcome & Introduction
The “Conflict Management” course is designed to encompass a broad understanding of conflict resolution strategies across various environments, including the workplace, home, church, and international relations. The curriculum takes an in-depth look at the nature of conflict, exploring its origins and the roles played by personal dynamics and external circumstances. Special emphasis is placed on understanding conflict through the lens of emotional intelligence and biblical principles, providing a comprehensive framework for navigating disputes. Students will engage with case studies and theoretical perspectives to understand the complexities of conflict and the importance of context in determining the most effective resolution strategy.
Training within the course will focus on equipping students with practical skills in conflict resolution. This includes the development of communication strategies, negotiation techniques, and the application of emotional intelligence to manage and resolve conflicts effectively. The course aims to not only enhance students’ ability to manage conflicts in various domains but also to foster a deeper understanding of the role of peacemaking and reconciliation within a global context.

How does CU Online work?
Covenant University Online is a work at your own pace online platform. Each course equates to one month. Each course begins on the first Monday of every month. All assignments, quizzes, exams and term papers are due by the 28th of every month. Once your application has been received and approved you will receive an email with your login information.
Tuitions are due on the 1st of every month. Once you have received your login information please login through the “My Account” tab and scroll down towards the bottom. There, you will be able to see the courses that are available. You may also go to covenantuniversityonline.com and click on the “All Courses” tab at the top of the page. Once you have purchased your course and you have been approved, you will receive an email stating your enrollment in the course. Following this you will then be able to sign in and access your course through the “My Account” page at the top of the mycbcs.online website.
