Church History – (TH 504)
Welcome & Introduction
This course provides a comprehensive overview of the history of the Christian Church from its inception in the first century to the modern era. It explores the development of theological thought, key events, influential figures, and the sociopolitical dynamics that have shaped the global Church throughout centuries. Students will engage with primary and secondary historical sources to assess critical turning points and movements within Christian history.

This course has a 3-credit hour value.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS:
- Read the required texts.
- Take all textbook quizzes.
- Write a term paper.

How does Covenant University Online work?
Covenant University Online is a work at your own pace online platform. Each course equates to one month. Each course begins on the first Monday of every month. All assignments, quizzes, exams and term papers are due by the 28th of every month. Once your application has been received and approved you will receive an email with your login information.
Tuitions are due on the 1st of every month. Once you have received your login information please login through the “My Account” tab and scroll down towards the bottom. There, you will be able to see the courses that are available. You may also go to covenantuniversityonline.com and click on the “All Courses” tab at the top of the page. Once you have purchased your course and you have been approved, you will receive an email stating your enrollment in the course. Following this you will then be able to sign in and access your course through the “My Account” page at the top of the covenantuniversityonline.com website.
