Spiritual & Mental Health – (BC 406)

Welcome & Introduction

The course is structured to equip students with a rigorous understanding of the interplay between spirituality and mental health from a Christian worldview. The curriculum delves into the complex tapestry of how spiritual beliefs and practices inform and influence mental well-being. Participants will encounter a diverse range of scholarly perspectives, giving them the capacity to discern and evaluate various approaches to spirituality and health within a Christian context. Historical and contemporary theological discourse will provide a backdrop as students examine how faith traditions have grappled with and contributed to the understanding of mental health issues. The course will underscore the importance of integrating spiritual insights with psychological principles to form a comprehensive approach to mental health that respects both the religious convictions and the psychological needs of individuals.

How does CU Online work?

Covenant University Online is a work at your own pace online platform. Each course equates to one month. Each course begins on the first Monday of every month. All assignments, quizzes, exams and term papers are due by the 28th of every month.  Once your application has been received and approved you will receive an email with your login information.

Tuitions are due on the 1st of every month. Once you have received your login information please login through the “My Account” tab and scroll down towards the bottom. There, you will be able to see the courses that are available. You may also go to covenantuniversityonline.com and click on the “All Courses” tab at the top of the page. Once you have purchased your course and you have been approved, you will receive an email stating your enrollment in the course. Following this you will then be able to sign in and access your course through the “My Account” page at the top of the mycbcs.online website.
